Extraterrestrial Space Ships to Rescue us out of the Energy Crisis?

To most of us, UFO’s solving our energy problem will sound, at best, like wishful thinking, and most likely will be dismissed as insane.

A solution to our energy problems from out of this world, or is it just insane?

A solution to our energy problems from out of this world, or is it just insane?

But if energy lobbyist Stephen Bassett has his way, President Barack Obama will release information that the government is secretly hiding on “extraterrestrial vehicles” –according to Mr. Bassett’s claims– which can be used to solve the nation’s energy problem and limit climate change in one fell swoop.

The power source, he said, chronicled in a report Greenwire did on the subject, behind a flying saucer the weight of a tractor-trailer which hurtles through galaxies at 20,000 miles per hour is astronomical.

“What is the energy system operating that craft?” Bassett said. “They’re not burning kerosene. It eliminates oil. It eliminates coal. If it’s as good as we think it is, it transforms everything.”

Mr. Bassett is the founder of the Paradigm Research Group (PRG), which launched the “Million Fax on Washington” campaign, calling for the President to release all files, call for congressional hearings, and make available extraterrestrial (ET) derived technologies to the public domain.

Bassett claims that the government has flying saucers in its possession.

He is a firm believer in the cause, and is even working free of charge to lobby on behalf of the Exopolitics Institute, an educational organization which describes itself as “dedicated to studying the key actors, institutions and political processes associated with extraterrestrial life.”

Stephen Bassett is focusing his efforts on the White House, in an attempt to receive openness on the subject of ET's.

Stephen Bassett is focusing his efforts on the White House, in an attempt to receive openness on the subject of ET's.

Believers that the truth regarding ET technology is currently being covered up, Bassett says, are eagerly awaiting for President Obama to declassify the information the government is holding on the subject.

He says that Obama ”has the intelligence to handle it,” while at the same time being “sensitive to the concerns of the military intelligence community.”

After lobbying for seven months on science and technology, defense and aviation, Bassett has now added, in a Senate filing, energy to his portfolio.

“The UFO phenomenon is real,” Bassett said. “The extraterrestrial presence is real.”

His theory is that the melting polar ice caps would be a thing of the past. There would be no more ozone hole, while the price of electricity would plummet to almost nil.

PRG says that there are “twenty million plus American citizens who are following the politics of disclosure with interest and concern.”

Even if there were extraterrestrial technologies in the government’s hands, don’t you think they are or already did try to figure out how it works? lol

humans are curious so steven bassett u need to grow up n realize human nature and quit bein so angry man u dont really care u just want attention lol
    grow up boy.

Either you are pulling our leg or you are being had. A speed of 20,000 mph is less than the speed reached by the Apollo program. I think Voyager was traveling roughly twice this speed when it left the solar system.

The majority (60%+) of college-educated Americans are already aware that some UFO’s are indeed alien craft.

It will not destroy our culture if our government reveals that our government not only possesses alien craft, but has been actively communicating with and even hosting alien visitors.

Read Dan Sherman’s book, “Above Black” which describes his experience of communicating with ET’s as a part of Project Preserve Destiny while he worked at the NSA.

We can’t let this person onto our Technologies.. he must be stopped at all cost.

If our Technologies are known to Earth, all other planets in the universe will be trashed too.

If I did the calculations right it would take over 3 million years to get to Proxima Centauri, the closet star to the sun, at that speed.

20,000 mph is 0.002% the speed of light. This is coincidentally(?) about the same speed the NASA space shuttles travel while in orbit. At this speed, it would take about 150,000 years to reach Earth from the nearest solar system, Alpha Centauri, at a distance of 26 trillion miles.

20,000mph isn’t going to hurtle you through a solar system never mind a galaxy.

if you guys didn’t RTFA it said the it is the weight of a tractor trailer yet it hurtles at speed of 20,000mph. so none of your claims matter because it weights a lot less and guaranteed would burn fractions of the fuel needed to run a nasa space shuttle, the point is not the speed. but how it can achieve that speed at that weight and not rip apart.. you guys need to look at it from different angles…

If we said we had alien technology that provided endless energy everyone on Earth would think they were entilted to it and stop at nothing to get it. Free energy out of the blue would super disruptive, catastrophic even. Better to “leak” key insights to scientists and have them reproduce the technology over the natural course of time.

In the Dan Sherman book, there is a conversation, in very general terms, about what powers the craft.

How did this garbage get onto Digg? Much less to the top of the list? Aliens? FREAKING ALIENS??? please pull your head out of your asses and devote your time and energy to actual BENEFICIAL uses, such as lobbying for increased funding for green or renewable energy sources, like Algae blooms for Oil, or better solar converters, or hell if you REALLY need to go there, Cold Fusion.

As has been stated many times, “extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence”.
I have seen exactly zero, even mediocre, evidence that aliens have been in contact with earth.

Even at the blistering speed of 20,000 mph.

Where did that 20.000 mph figure come from? Maybe in the atmosphere, but in the vacuum of space… there’s no limit to how fast we could go, once we understand the physics of space-time. I’m one of the 20 million waiting for disclosure. Trillions have been spent on building hundreds of secret bases to house these things as military aces in the hole, in case world war three broke out. Now they are so deep into the lie, they can’t bring themselves to fess up to it, as with everything else that’s happened. All the technology is already available, it just needs to be brought together into one place, so we can duplicate what they have done but in the civilian world. For the ones afraid we will export our brand of trashy into the cosmos, have no fear, the very act of gravitating to the next level, will make it so human nature will evolve to meet all those already out there. It’s already happened, it happens every day.

Well if you think of E.T. technology, look at the timeline of inventions in the last 2000 years. Pretty much everything that you enjoy (gas engine, electricity, refrigeration, air conditioning, radio, telephone, television, computer, satellites, aviation, space travel) has been invented/developed/adopted pretty much in the last 100 years. Especially TV has developed extremely quickly starting with telegraph, radio, and then cathode ray image. I believe that humans are extremely clever and can figure all this out, but who is not to say that there might have been some extraneous influence to make all this come up so fast. Maybe there’s advanced tech that gets figured out and then applied slowly.

Regardless of whether saucer technology is of human or alien origin, releasing it to the world would give everyone an unbeatable strategic weapon. Rogue states/terrorists with nuclear weapons is one thing but what if they had an unstoppable means of delivering them too?

I don’t know if there is government knowledge of aliens. I do know that they still operate under a long discredited notion that “the people would panic.” Part of THAT is from the long discredited myths surrounding the radio broadcast of “The War of the Worlds.” People did not panic. The closest it got was from people had fun with it… got in their cars and went to the location mentioned in the broadcast. They were having fun and laughing at “the other idiots,” not panicking.

Oh FFS. Have any of you ever heard of the law of accelerating returns? and how it applies to technological advancement? Any species that survives the bottlenecks faced by rampant tech growth, and industrialization will have NO NEED to travel among the stars. After all there are about 3 reasons to do so.

    1. Colonization. in which case…we would already be dead or enslaved.
    2. Resources. Which would not only be rather useless with energy/matter conversion or nanotechnology, AND would be far more abundant and accessible in other, younger solar systems.
    3. Anthropological research…which would mean we would never know they were there till we reached the same level (ever heard of Magellan? and how the Natives of the Polynesians islands were unable to even DISTINGUISH his ships from the horizon as they were to far removed from there world view? Yeah thought not)

In other words….. there are no alien space ships being hidden by the government. There are no “flying saucers” (which BTW would be a RIDICULOUS shape for an interstellar vehicle, especially for one designed to enter an atmosphere) there is only human imagination run rampant. UFO sightings are the same as people witnessing “miracles”, your mind is filling in the gaps of your knowledge with imagination in order to make sense of what your eyes are seeing.

And finally GTFO of Digg. Keep your fringe garbage where it belongs. trashy Sci-Fi Novels, and Bad Fox shows.

    You said this:
the point is not the speed. but how it can achieve that speed at that weight and not rip apart.

Errrr what the hell are you on about he never said anything about being ripped apart, you have added this yourself. Yes he did mention the size of a tractor-trailer but he wasnt intending you to take him literally because an actual trailer wouldnt be very inappropriate……no surprises there then.
    @ Azrael

You said this: UFO sightings are the same as people witnessing “miracles”, your mind is filling in the gaps of your knowledge with imagination in order to make sense of what your eyes are seeing.

You seem to have a lot of insight into things I have never heard, which interests me but if what you said here is true then we must all look, sound, act, talk, and, think the same. Are you saying that we are all clones????

  25. By James on May 20, 2009 at 5:29 pm

The more educated you are, the more likely you are to believe in the existence of aliens. To most people who spend a bit of time actually doing a bit of research, the conclusion is all but inescapable.

No, I doubt there will be a large panic when disclosure comes, but understand, civilization is based on the availability of cheap energy (else we’d all be farming to meet our nutrient and caloric requirements), but at the same time, there are those who are more or less in ‘control’ of the world, and eliminating a want for energy, through the introduction of some zero-point energy device, would through the world economy into complete chaos. With cheap, unlimited energy, the very idea of competition in a free market disappears (it’s the equivalent of having unlimited funds).

If everyone has all the money/energy they could ever want, or need, then capitalism will fail. There will be no effective way to control a population and keep it enslaved in a wage-slave labor system.

I think this is the real reason which prevents disclosure. We are at a tipping point in history, and lets hope it can tip in the right direction.

You’re all missing the point. For argument, let’s say the US government HAS alien craft the CAN accomplish staggering feats (free energy, super space travel, etc.)…if the government hasn’t owned up to hiding them by now, then a million MORE faxes will not matter. There will still be no files released, no congressional hearings, and no “ET derived technologies” released to the public domain. So, it’s ALL A MOOT POINT.

Several posts have mentioned “evidence” that the earth is being visited by ET’s. Wrong. There is evidence for the existence of unexplained flying objects, but there’s zip evidence as to what these really are. The so called extra-terrestrial hypothesis has been the sea anchor that’s prevented the serious investigation of what UFOs are. (See Allen Hynek’s “The UFO Experience”.) The assumption that UFOs are either spaceships or that they therefore don’t exist is a red herring. There are certainly plenty of eyewtiness reports of inexplicible events, but there isn’t any scientific evidence that those reports are of craft from another world. They could be some sort of projected vision (as Jung believed.) They could be some rare natural event. No one knows. The ETH was the weapon Condon used to end the scientific investigations of UFOs. Now that’s being carried out by amatuers. Too bad.

Obama may have the intelligence to handle the truth about UFOs, but he may not have the courage to confront the people behind the cover-up. One doesn’t go without the other. These bad guys have some technology from the bad aliens at the underground bases in exchange of human experiments. This is an alliance or contract between both of them. They don’t want us to know what is going on down there. Remember, the Earth is hollow, not round. The less we know about this, the better for them to have control of the planet. Obama is not going to risk his leadership to rescue humanity.

Kind of amusing, but not to be taken seriously by the intelligent or the sane. Although, apparently quite few readers think “oh yeah, for sure dude, it’s real!” It’s stunning how stupid people can be.

@ Mike Cagle Time will tell ( soon ) who is stupid and who is not. There are qualified Scientists , Engineers , former Astronauts, Pilots , former Army , Navy and Air Force personal from Brazil, USA, UK, Mexico, Russia, etc and a former Defence Minister of Canada who have come out in support of the existance of ETs. and asking for disclosure.
You really need to do some simple research and use your COMMON SENSE.
and @ Hamad – no the ETs are not finding USA the only attractive place to visit, They have visited Brazil, Mexico, UK, Canada , Russia, France, Iran, Pakistan and many cities of India including Bangalore and New Delhi. I have myself spotted a UFO hurtling from Gurgaon to New Delhi and many of my friends in New Delhi sighted UFO’s hovering above. They travel everywhere.
